The jury is still out on whether cell phones are a potential cause for brain tumors.
I think the scientists are pretty much of the mind set that further study is warranted but there may be some definite cause for concern. In some ways we are in the same position we were 40 or 50 years ago with tobacco – we didn’t know the risks, there was a cause for concern, and further study was needed.
Most cell phone manufacturers and other corporations that are making tons of money off our cell phone use are understandably down-playing the potential risks and trying to silence the scientists’ efforts to provide more information about these risks to the public.
And most people like their cell phones and don’t want to give them up.
