Electrical Wiring on an Old Building

In the previous post, Farmer’s Market, I mentioned that it is located in down town Round Rock. The buildings there are quite old, some are at least 130 years although I’m not sure of the exact age. Old by American building standards anyway.

In the alley between the Farmers Market and the old building next to it you can see the electrical wiring that has been built up over time to keep this building full of lights and air conditioning:

If you look closely up towards the top:

You can’t see it well in the photo, but that wiring sticks out about 4 feet. I’m not an electrician, but I wonder about this set-up every week.
